Teeth Cleanings

Teeth cleaning is a crucial aspect of oral hygiene involving the removal of plaque, tartar, and food particles from the teeth, gums, and other oral surfaces. Typically performed by dental professionals, this process often includes scaling and polishing to ensure both the cleanliness and health of the mouth. We also offer fluoride treatments which provides an added layer of protection against cavities. Regular teeth cleaning helps prevent dental issues such as cavities, gum disease, and bad breath, as it effectively reduces the buildup of harmful bacteria. It is usually recommended to have a professional cleaning at least twice a year.

Deep Cleanings

Dental deep cleaning, also known as scaling and root planning, is a comprehensive dental procedure designed to address significant gum disease and plaque buildup below the gum line. For patients with signs of gum disease, our deep cleaning and gum therapy services can help restore your oral health. This process involves the meticulous removal of tartar and plaque from both the tooth surface and the roots, helping to eliminate bacteria and smooth the tooth roots to promote healing and reattachment of the gums. Our dental care team also offers laser gum therapy to effectively treat periodontal issues. Deep cleaning is typically recommended when traditional dental cleanings are insufficient due to periodontal disease or advanced gum issues. The long-term benefits include improved oral health, reduced inflammation, and the prevention of tooth loss by maintaining the integrity of the supporting gum structures. Regular deep cleaning can greatly enhance overall dental health and lead to fresher breath and a brighter smile.
