Implants & Veneers

A Dental Implant is an artificial tooth root (metal posts) that is placed in the jaw to support a replacement tooth or appliance. The implant is placed in the jawbone beneath the gums.  Dental Implants are used for any patients that may have lost a tooth due to injury or in other cases periodontal disease. Dental implants are designed to look, feel and function like a natural tooth.

Veneers are a less intrusive option than crowns or braces. A veneer is a “thin piece of porcelain used to re-create the natural look of the tooth” according to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  Veneers can be used to close gaps or correct small misalignments. Veneers are also used as a cosmetic source to enhance the brightness of their teeth or to correct discoloration or fractures.
